We are inspired by the many organizations that pivoted during the pandemic to meet the needs of their community. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy re- focused their efforts from after-school programs to feeding families by hosting food give-aways. Quickly word spread in the community!. Over 12,000 boxes of food have been passed out to date. Each week, there were lines of cars parked on our street waiting for the opportunity to get a food box/bag. Many families shared their financial struggles and gratitude to the club for helping them feed their families.
Through the generosity of local donors, they were also able to donate dozens of gas cards. One family in particular was so emotional after receiving a gas card.
